Doctor Nick Smith, along with his wife Laurel and three children, Hayden, Preston, and Katie love being a part of Lake Junaluska First Baptist. Nick has served as a youth pastor, church planter, and lead pastor. He is committed to communicating God’s Word and leading the church to fulfill the mission of God in today’s culture.

 

Nick was born and raised in Murphy, NC. He became a follower of Jesus at the age of 11 and committed to the call of ministry at the age of 18. Nick received an A.A. and B.S. in Religion. He continued his education and pastoral preparation by earning an MA in Religion, Masters of Divinity, and Doctorate of Ministry.
